Wedding & Event Director

From an early age, Ruthie fostered her inbred passions for planning, design, and hospitality. Originally from Seattle, she relocated to Santa Barbara to pursue her Bachelors at Westmont College, where her creative and organizational strengths continued to flourish.

Ruthie quickly pursued integration into Santa Barbara’s vibrant wedding community, gaining valuable experience through her work both in the sky (Alaska Airlines) and on the ground (KB Events/Coastal Rose Events/Array Creative Design). Her love for travel remains a constant source of inspiration, and she looks forward to exploring many more destinations in the years ahead — ideally between busy wedding seasons.

Outside of her professional life, Ruthie enjoys leisurely beach walks with an iced coffee in hand and cherishes time spent with her husband, Johab. She feels genuinely honored to be part of the Events By Rincon family and to contribute to so many special, meaningful celebrations!
