Rincon Beach Club FAQ



  • While there is no curfew, is there a standard event duration included in the facility fee? If guests stay later, how does additional time work and what is included hourly?

    Our “standard” event duration, which is included in the facility fee, covers 5.5 hours of event time. The event time will start as soon as the bar opens during cocktail hour, and the bar will remain open for 5 hours with one of our two main bar packages. The last half hour is intended to give you and your guests some extra time after the bar closes and the music concludes to say your goodbyes and not feel rushed off property. A standard example timeline would be 6-11PM, with bar closing and music concluding at 11PM and guest conclusion/guests off property at 11:30PM. The event time does not include the ceremony portion, which is priced separately from the facility fee. Any additional hour(s) would be priced at $1,250 per hour. (We can also add additional 1/2 hours as well!)

  • Is there a latest time for amplified music, and does that differ between indoor and outdoor spaces?

    All amplified music is required to be inside our dance floor area during the “open dancing” portion of the event. There is no curfew for music indoors! We do have speakers in the Garden space that will have music playing throughout the dinner reception, and this space can also be used to facilitate your first dance or any special dances, but the open dancing portion is required to be indoors, as it is what allows us to not have a curfew at our venue!

  • What are the earliest vendor load‑in and latest load‑out times included? Is there a required time that all vendors must be fully off‑site?

    Vendors can typically arrive up to 2 hours prior to guest arrival. Load out times will depend on the event conclusion. Typically any load out will need to take place after all guests have left the property. Your Rincon planner will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating all vendor arrival times and vendor load out times, and if any special accommodations are needed, it will be handled and addressed by your Planner and that vendor directly.

  • Are there any décor restrictions we should be aware of, and how is cleanup handled for any leftover décor or florals?

    In terms of decor, there are a few restrictions, but it is always good to run your decor ideas past your Wedding Planner prior to purchasing any items or moving forward with anything prior to getting approval. We always recommend using one of our preferred floral vendors, who are very familiar with our decor specifications/requirements, especially when it comes to candles/votives. There are a few decor items we do not allow at the beach club including: confetti, dyed florals (only natural flower petals are allowed for the ceremony), sparklers, and open flames not enclosed in a votive. We do allow real candles, but there must be a solid votive enclosure surrounding the candle, with at least an inch between the wick and the top of the votive. Happy to elaborate on this if needed!

  • Lastly, could you share more about the rain plan or inclement weather options and any decision deadlines associated with weather?

    We have a rain contingency plan in which we would install our canopy and sidewalls around the tent structure in the Garden (pictured below). The tent is up during our off-peak season, typically Thanksgiving to Valentine's Day. If your event is booked outside of this timeframe, and we are seeing rain in the forecast, we are able to decide to put up the tent with at least 5 days notice. The fee to put up the tent is $6,250 (including both the sailcloth canopy and the “wet weather” side walls), which is actually about 1/2 the cost of installing a full tent through a third party vendor!


    Please note there is no third party tent option at Rincon Beach Club however the cost of a similar tent would be more than double at a typical offsite outdoor loation.
